His mother is also a daughter of Son Ofa Doc, bringing Doc Bar blood into his pedigree on both top and bottom. Royal was foaled by noted cutting horse legend Sam Wilson on the Wilson Ranch. Royal is a finished cutter himself and will be competing in the spring.
